Fluro is a graffiti writer from Ōtautahi / Christchurch, living in Tāmaki Makaurau/ Auckland at the moment. She is a member of TMD, SUG, KWA, and another all-female hip hop crew, 3K Calibre. Her work is primarily based around letterforms and influenced by her background in graffiti, graphic design and signwriting. She works as a freelance graphic designer and mural artist, and always planning for the next steps in the career. Fluro’s style is clean and simple because she often feels like she’s living in chaos, so subconsciously, order is a central approach throughout her graffiti and artwork.

In this design, ‘A Game of Chance’, refers to how Fluro see’s graffiti. This crazy game where you can’t anticipate what’s going to happen at any time, but you might have the best or most interesting time of your life. As someone who always wants to be in control of their life, graffiti has been a way of letting go of all the ‘what if’s’ and just going with it.
